Back in 1976, when A-M Systems was founded, telex was still an efficient means of communication. Brick-sized cell phones were not yet commercialized. “Facebook” and “Twitter” might have been considered inappropriate words. And you could contact us in only two ways: by telephone and by U.S. mail.
Today phone and mail are still critical tools for interacting with our customers and distributors. But some phone calls have given way to video chats on Skype, snail mail to e-mail, and telex to modern Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
With the birth of our new web site, we overhauled and upgraded a few key communication features and added new ways for customers to interact with us.
The E-Mail Form
The form on the Contact Us page has become by far the most popular method of contacting us. From simple queries to complex technical questions, this is a great way to reach us by e-mail.
Live Chat
During business hours, the live chat button turns blue and we are online to answer your questions. When we are not online, the button becomes grayed out. You can still leave us a message by clicking the button and following the prompts.
Request a Quote
You can now request a quote on our web site. Simply add items to your cart, and choose “I Want to Request a Quote” as your payment option. Look at this example of a quote request for our Patch Clamp Amplifier (Model 2400). We usually answer quote requests on the same day.
Facebook & Twitter
With 750 million active users worldwide, Facebook is a great platform for interacting with our customers, colleagues and distributors. We will announce offers and special promotions on Facebook and Twitter. Don’t want to miss our promotions? Like our Facebook page and Follow us on Twitter today!
Telephone
No, we’re not getting rid of our telephone. We’d love to hear from you. You can call us anytime at +1 (360) 683-8300 or +1 (800) 426-1306, if you’re in the U.S. or Canada. We’re here from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time from Monday through Friday.
